User Permissions

There are three different user permission levels within Workspaces:
  • Super User (highest)
  • User
  • External User

Super Users and Users are managed from within the Settings page on each Workspace.

External Users are managed from each Vessel page.

Super Users

Super Users have full access to the site. They are able to:

  • Edit organisational settings

  • Add crew

  • Add vessels

  • Add external users to the organisation who can help with day to day admin of crew and vessels.

Users

Users have similar permissions, however they are unable to edit the organisational settings (e.g. logo, name, add/edit/remove other users and super-users).

External Users

An External User is granted either read or write access.

Within a Vessel page a User or Super User has the ability to invite an External User (as shown in the image) by inputting their email and clicking invite. You can then choose what level of access you wish the user to have by clicking the arrow as shown in the second image. To remove an External User from the vessel click the red recycle bin next to their name.To find out more about External Users, what they can see and do, please click on the External user guide linked below 👇Or to find out how to generate a list of all users on your Workspace, click on the guide below 👇

Super users can run a report to view all the users linked to the Workspace.
